Existing Quran reading platforms lacked personalization and community features. Users couldn't track their reading progress across surahs, manage their daily spiritual practices, or easily share their journey. Mosques also needed a simple way to display accurate prayer times without building their own solutions.
Wat ik bouwde
We built a full-featured web platform with Next.js and Supabase offering surah-by-surah and ayah-by-ayah reading with progression tracking. Users can set up profiles (public or private), manage zhikir counters, and read over 30 translations. A dedicated car mode provides distraction-free audio playback. For mosques, we created an embeddable prayer times display that connects to the Diyanet API for accurate scheduling.
